Preheat the oven to 190C/375F/Gas mark 5
Cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy, then beat in the sour cream. Fold in the flour, coconut and lemon juice.
Form the mixture into 24 balls and coat each with a little coconut. Place on a greased baking tray and press a quartered cherry into the top of each. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, until they are a light golden colour. Transfer to a wire rack to cool. Makes 24
