Eggless Drop Cookies

Cookies with Spices

Buxton Cookies

Preheat the oven to 180°C/350°F/Gas mark 4

Cream together the butter and sugar. Mix in the vanilla, lemon juice and sour cream. Sift together the flour, nutmeg, baking powder, soda and the spices. Add to the creamed mixture alternately with the milk.

Drop from a teaspoon onto a greased baking tray, 3 inches apart. Bake for 10 minutes or until lightly browned. This makes 6 dozen cookies.
