Eggless Drop Cookies

Cookies with Spices

Flying Saucers

Preheat the oven to 180°C/350°F/Gas mark 4

Cream together the butter and brown sugar. Sift together the flour, soda, salt, ginger and cinnamon. Mix alternately with molasses and milk into the butter blend. Stir in the vinegar.

Drop by teaspoonfuls onto a greased baking sheet. Choose and press on pieces of dried fruit in the centre and around the edges. Bake 10 to 15 minutes. Place on wire racks to cool.
