Preheat the oven to 190°C/375°F/Gas mark 5
Cream together the butter and sugar. Mix in the apple sauce and sour cream. Mix until well combined. Add the raisins and nuts. Mix in. Sift together the flour, salt, baking powder, soda and the spices. Add to the creamed mixture.
Drop from a teaspoon onto a greased baking tray, 3 inches apart. Bake for 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
