Preheat the oven to 200°C/400°F/Gas mark 6
Cream together the butter, margarine and sugar. Blend in the sour cream. Sift together the flour, salt, soda and nutmeg. Fold in to the creamed mixture. Toss in the nuts, and finally the crushed pineapple. Chill for one hour.
Drop by teaspoon on to an oiled cookie sheet, 2 inches apart. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes. Remove to cooling rack when firm enough to handle.
