Preheat the oven to 190°C/375°F/Gas mark 5
Sift together the the flour, soda, and salt. Cream together the the brown sugar and butter until light and fluffy. Stir in the sour cream, milk and vanilla. Add the sifted ingredients. Stir in the pecans, coconut, and cherries.
Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls onto lightly greased cookie sheets. Bake for 9-10 minutes until golden brown. Cool on a wire rack.
