Cookies with Nuts and Seeds

Cranberry Orange Cookies

Preheat the oven to 190°C/375°F/Gas mark 5

Cream together the sugar and butter in a large bowl. Stir in milk, orange juice and sour cream. Stir in flour, baking powder, salt and baking soda. Stir in cranberries and nuts.

Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto cookie sheet. Bake 10 to 15 minutes or until light brown around the edges. Immediately remove from cookie sheet; cool. Drizzle with orange glaze.

For the glaze, heat the butter in a medium saucepan until melted. Stir in the icing sugar/confectioner's sugar and orange peel. Stir in the orange juice, 1 tbsp. at a time, until thin enough to drizzle.
