Preheat the oven to 180°C/350°F/Gas mark 4

Combine the butter, syrup and sugar in a pan. Stir over a low heat until the butter is melted. Boil, uncovered, for 2 minutes. Combine the remaining ingredients in a large bowl, gently stir in the butter mixture.

Drop level tablespoons of mixture into paper cup cake cases. Place on baking trays. Bake for about 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Makes about 40.
